

Hillsborough Schools Hosts Virtual Hiring Events

Tampa, Fla. – (April 24, 2020) – Things have changed in our world because of the coronavirus, but our need to hire great teachers has not. Hillsborough County Public Schools is looking for individuals who want to make a difference in the lives of our children. Our district is hiring for all teaching positions for the 2020-2021 school year. For those who want to learn more about becoming a teacher in our district, we are hosting several upcoming virtual informational sessions:
- Tuesday, April 28, 1 – 3 p.m.
- Thursday, April 30, 9 a.m. – noon
- Tuesday, May 5, 1 – 3 p.m.
The meetings will all be virtual and candidates can sign up for the upcoming sessions on TeachInTampa.com. A live chat feature is available on the page to answer candidates’ questions. Representatives from the Office of Teacher Recruitment will be available to answer questions about the application process, steps to certification, researching vacancies, and other topics.
Hillsborough County Public Schools hires nearly 1,200 new teachers every year. We are looking for a diverse group of educators to meet our students’ needs and our growing student population.
