Teacher Interview Day

Tampa, Fla. – (May 12, 2017) – Hillsborough County Public Schools will host the 2017 Teacher Interview Day from 7 a.m. – 1 p.m., Saturday May 13, at Franklin Boys Preparatory Academy, located at 3915 21st Avenue, Tampa.
More than 100 schools are expected to attend the event and hire for instructional vacancies for the 2017-2018 school year. Schools are seeking to hire instructional personnel including, ESE, English, reading, math, science, Head Start, culinary arts, business technology, welding, TV production and Spanish.
Additionally, the district is looking to hire more than 60 guidance counselors to help serve our growing population of students. HCPS is looking for a diverse instructional staff who are bilingual and resemble the student population.
HCPS expects to hire more than 1100 teachers between May 12 and the first day of school, which is August 10. To learn more about HCPS and to apply for an instructional position, visit www.teachintampa.com.
Participation in the event is contingent upon having a current "Active" online employment application via AppliTrack, meeting the requirements outlined by the Office of Teacher Recruitment, and receiving final approval from the Office of Teacher Recruitment. Candidates approved and invited to attend the event received final confirmation e-mails. The Teach in Tampa website also contains videos and a calendar of information sessions and hiring events.
