OSD Vendor Process

OSD Vendor Registration - Summary Steps The process consists of two-steps. Step 1 is the Application & Step 2 is the certification as a small, woman or minority - owned business. Both steps must be completed in order to be approved for the District's Small Business Encouragement Program as a Small Business Enterprise (SBE).

Step 1 - District Application

  1. The Vendor Link application also serves as the application for the District's small business program.
  2. Answer ALL mandatory questions, specifically, on the first screen, the following question should be answered

  4. When the question is answered yes, the screen will provide the additional fields that are needed to be completed.
    • Number of employees
    • Net Worth
    • Net Income
    • Number of years in business
    • FEIN/SSN
  5. If you are already registered with Vendor Link, you will want to log into Vendor Link, go to the business profile link and make sure you have indicated that you are interested in the program.
  6. Once all of the information above is filled out the Office of Supplier Diversity will automatically be notified of your application. If you do not hear from the OSD within 15 business days, contact us by emailing OSD.
  7. Note: Make sure you choose "Save" at the bottom of each page.

Step 2 - Certification

  1. To be approved as a SBE with the District you must be certified with one of the following agencies.

Once you have a certification from one of the agencies above you can scan and submit that form to us by emailing OSD or fax it to us at (813) 635-1245.
